what you see is what you get
I see it everyday, a house a forecosure auction looks great from the outside and the inside is destroyed. At an auction in Amesbury today, I watched a young couple buy a house and were ecstatic when they signed the papers. All I could think was that there dreams maybe shattered as soon as they see the inside. It makes me wonder, why would anybody by at foreclosure. It is much safer to buy as a 3rd party, i.e. let an anivestor buy at auction and buy it from them. The P and S will protect you and you get an inspection!!

buyer tax credit extended
As I was skimming Banker and Tradesman recently, and going along with my daily work of attending forecolsure auctions, I thought that foreclosures were going down. Boy was I WRONG!

interesting..
Mortgage giant Fannie Mae said Thursday that it would throw a lifeline to some people losing their homes to foreclosure by allowing them to lease those properties back for up to a year at market rental rates.
The move is the latest in a series of steps by lenders trying to manage inventories of foreclosed homes on their books in an attempt to keep a wave of properties from slamming a housing market that has shown some signs of recovery.

Foreclosures
Hello,
I currently work at a real estate investment firm and go to foreclosure auctions to bid on houses. Many people say that what we do is heartless. WE buy houses that other people are losing. But doesn't everyone need a way to put food on the table?
